Man charged after gluing shut fridge

A man has been charged with a number of offences by police in the American state of Pennsylvania, after allegedly gluing his ex-girlfriend's fridge door shut.

According to a report by The Patriot News, the incident was reported to police after the woman returned home to find someone had broken into her flat.

But while nothing was missing from the property, after investigating further, she discovered that the door of her refrigerator had been glued shut.

As well as being unable to get into the domestic appliance, the woman, from Dauphin County, also found a utensil drawer in the kitchen had been glued, along with her computer keyboard.

Police investigating the break-in have now arrested the victim's ex-boyfriend and charged the 42-year-old with burglary, trespassing, stalking and criminal mischief.
