An angry customer took matters into his own hands by dumping his wasted frozen food in a Currys store in Colchester because he was so dissatisfied with the service.
Kevin Cook originally ordered an American style Daewoo fridge freezer from the Currys website yet when the fridge freezer arrived at his home, he was shocked to find that the door was badly dented and the ice maker was damaged.
Because the fridge freezer was so big and would be difficult to move Mr Cook agreed to have his product repaired instead of having a new one fitted. However, the engineers cancelled the appointment three times which led Mr Cook to then ask for a replacement. When the replacement arrived it was more damaged than the first and Mr Cook refused to accept it. The initial fridge freezer was meant to be repaired within 48 hours but after three weeks nothing had been done.
Mr Cook was so upset by the lack of customer service that he asked for a full refund for the fridge freezer but was told he would have to wait one week for it. He was left with no money for a new appliance and a box of wasted frozen food which he decided to dump in the Currys store to show how upset he was.
