Most of us will be familiar with that grey fibrous material that clothes dryers seem to generate and generally deposit about the place.
Few of us however, would consider its potential artistic merits. Well, Laura Bell of Michigan has deftly recreated Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper with nothing more than dryer lint! It is a remarkable rendition of the famous tableaux depicting one of the most familiar biblical scenes and we thought it was quite beautiful too… Now we will never regard that annoying gray fluff in quite the same light.
Laura’s creation here of course makes use of coloured lint —- not to be confused with that fine residue that seems to be blown about the place by most clothes dryers, which is always gray in my experience?
